Tutorial: How to bypass enrollment on any Chromebook

Published January 15th, 2023 @ 12:12PM EST • Written by notathirdaccount#0305

HOW TO BYPASS THE ENTERPRISE ENROLLMENT ON ANY CHROMEBOOK

WARNING: Do this at your own risk! If you bypass this, admin of the enterprise will see that you have disconnected from their servers. Only do this if you got a Chromebook from e.g. eBay or Facebook. I do not condone any malicious use! With that being said, here's the tutorial

What you will need

1. A chromebook (duh)
2. A USB flash drive (32gb is the recommended size, but anything over 4gb will suffice)

1. Go to the chrome web store and install an extension called "chromebook recovery utility" this will be important for downgrading
2. When you've installed it, open the extension and click on the cogwheel
3. First off, you will have to erase the usb drive via the tool.
4. Then, go to a website called chrome100.dev (this is an archive with all chromebook repository images) find your model by holding down ctrl + f and writing you model (if unsure what model it is, check the back of the chromebook). After that, you can pick between 3 different versions. 87, 91 and 101 (101 is a bit buggy in my experience though) you MUST pick one of these, if your chromebook doesn't support any of these versions then you're out of luck.
5. After that has installed, go to the chromebook recovery utility and select "use local image" in the settings/cogwheel.
6. Select the image you just installed and wait until it's done.
7. When it is done, head over to your Chromebook and hold down esc + refresh + power. When you've entered the recovery screen insert your USB drive and wait until it's done
8. When it's done, set up your chromebook. It will reroll into your enterprise, this is normal.
9. When you've finished setting it up enter google and search up "coolelectronics.me/unroll". Follow the steps in the website as it says.
10. When done, log out of your chromebook and powerwash it by holding down ctrl + alt + shift + R
11. Accept all the warnings and let it do its thing.
12. Set the chromebook up again
13. It will be unenrolled. Congrats!

Tutorial: How to downgrade a iPhone 3GS to iOS 4

Published January 14th, 2023 @ 10:13AM EST

Step 1: Download iTunes from here and install it: iTunes
Step 2: Download the iOS 4.1 IPSW from here: iOS 4.1 IPSW
Step 3: Connect your 3GS to your computer
Step 4: Hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds, after those 10 seconds release the power button but keep holding the home button until the phone's screen turns black
Step 5: Open iTunes, it should say iPhone detected in recovery mode
Step 6: Shift click on the Restore button
Step 7: Select the IPSW you downloaded in step 2 Step 8: Wait until the restore finishes. You should now have iOS 4 on your 3GS*

If the restore fails, it's likely your 3GS was manufactured after the release of iOS 5. This means the NAND (storage chip) is incompatible with iOS 4. If you are stuck at activation, use redsn0w to hacktivate. *If you get Error 1015, use RecoveryModeTool to exit recovery mode.
You can now use limera1n to jailbreak. However, it requires Windows 7.

Coding on Windows XP

Published September 16th, 2021 @ 1AM EST

Wanna hear a fun fact?

I created this site in Chrome 49 on Windows XP SP3. Didn't use any other OS, or browser. Just XP.

EDIT Oct 4 2023: Using a modern laptop and OS because I am no longer a loser.
EDIT Dec 1 2021: Now, my Dell Inspiron 11-3153. And with it I'm using a different discontinued OS, Windows 7.
EDIT Sep 29 2021: Using my Chromebook Pixel 2 LS to actually edit the site now, only used XP to make it originally.
